Avocate at Meridian 2026: connections that drive innovation

A few days after taking part in HackMeridian, the Avocate team attended Meridian 2026 in Lisbon on 28 and 29 October. It is the annual conference organised by Stellar, bringing together global leaders in financial and technological infrastructure, institutions, founders and its own ecosystem.
It was a unique opportunity to meet investors, founders, ecosystem leaders, developers and collaborators who are shaping financial infrastructure. With them, the team shared its development process, exchanged perspectives and explored how blockchain technology translates into real opportunities for the agricultural sector.
One of the most valuable conversations centred on a shared idea: the need to apply tokenization and decentralized finance to help the agricultural sector move forward.
Avocate came back from Lisbon with more than new contacts: validated perspectives, stronger relationships, potential synergies and an even clearer vision of where the project is heading.
The team thanks the Stellar Development Foundation for building and funding the next generation of builders, and everyone who made it possible to be part of Meridian. Technology matters, but so do the people who create it, those who support it and the connections that make its adoption possible.
