Does avocate.io use cookies?

avocate.io does not use first-party or third-party cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. That is why the website does not show a banner asking you to accept cookies: there are none that require your consent.

How are visits measured without cookies?

Visit statistics come from Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or store any identifier in your browser. Each visit is recognised by an encrypted code (hash) calculated from the request to the server itself, which is discarded after 24 hours, so the same visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next. More details are in the Vercel Web Analytics privacy documentation.

What does the website store in your browser?

The website stores a single item in your browser’s local storage (localStorage): the language you have chosen, Spanish or English, so the website is shown in that language next time. It contains no personal data, is not sent to any server and is needed for a feature you have requested, so it does not require consent under Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002.

How can you delete it?

You can delete that item at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings. The website will keep working and will show again in the default language.

Changes to this policy

If the website adds cookies that require consent in the future, we will ask for it before setting them and will update this page. For any question you can write to info@avocate.io. How personal data is processed is explained in the privacy policy.
